• 1 French baguette
  • 8 oz. wedge of brie cheese, rind removed and at room temperature
  • 1 cup of champagne grapes, rinse and pat dry, separate from stems
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, pressed or minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste, I like to use ¼ tsp. of each

Brie and Champagne Grapes Crostini

Dazzle your guests with this perfect appetizer. The creaminess from the cheese, the burst of sweetness from the grapes and the crispiness from the crostini make for a palate pleasing treat!


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

On a plate, add olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper. With a fork, mix and mash garlic with the back of the fork, infusing the garlic into the oil. Set aside.

Slice baguette ½ inch thick at an angle. Brush one side of each slice of bread with the seasoned oil and place on a baking sheet.

Bake the baguettes at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until lightly toasted. Let cool.

Spread a generous amount of brie cheese on each baguette slice. Lightly press 7 to 8 champagne grapes into the brie cheese.

Makes: approximately 24 crostinis
