• 4 ripe medium avocados
  • 2 roma tomatoes, seeded and diced
  • 3 tbs. yellow onion, diced
  • 1-2 jalapenos, minced (I like to leave the seeds but you can remove the seeds if you wish to tame down the heat)
  • 3 tbs. cilantro, finely chopped
  • 3/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 ½ tsp. sea salt, or to taste
  • 3 tbs. lime juice, fresh

Perfect Guacamole

This guacamole is always a crowd favorite! It’s rich and creamy with just the right balance in flavor and texture. This guacamole is a perfect and quick-to-make appetizer. Serve this for your next football game party or Mexican fiesta!

Cut avocados in half, remove seed and scoop out the flesh with a spoon and place in a medium size bowl.  With a fork mash the avocados until it is slightly creamy but still chunky.  Add the remaining ingredients and gently mix and fold until well blended.  Serve immediately.

Serves: 6-8

Adriana’s Trick –

“Before covering the guacamole with plastic wrap, squeeze lime juice over the top and this will help ensure it won’t turn brown.”

Adriana’s Tip –

This guacamole can be made several hours ahead of time. Place plastic wrap directly on the surface of the guacamole (creating a barrier from oxidation). If top layer of the guacamole turns brown simply scrape the top layer off with a spoon and discard. Another good tip for entertaining is to prep all the ingredients ahead of time leaving only the avocados to cut and mash right before guests arrive.”
